Beating Hearts

July 6, 1994

Thy heart
	beats

Unto the light
    begets peace
From darkness
	 broken

For thou art life
	Wondrous
		Divine
Synapses
	meld
   Bowels
	move

Continents drift
	Planets align
		Galaxies implode
I think
          therefore I die
  I’m dead
	    therefore I was?
Seers see
	Mine eyes cannot

My heart beats
    to a special rhythm
			Mozart -
		Can you hear me?
