Rocky Mountain Gothic: New Single Record Store Poster transforms the visual identity of the Plated Jams single into the language of vintage record-store promotion. The poster draws on FM-era radio advertising, independent record shops, hi-fi equipment graphics and late twentieth-century music promotion. A cropped vinyl record, tonearm, stereo-channel markings, analog VU meters and frequency displays surround the single artwork, while oversized distressed typography gives Rocky Mountain Gothic the force of a record-store announcement. Black, weathered cream, burnt orange and blue-green reinforce the rugged, analog character of the design.
