Rocky Mountain Gothic Colorado Vintage Travel Poster

Robert Meyers-Lussier · Digital Art - Digital Poster Art From Original Photography

Rocky Mountain Gothic: Colorado Vintage Travel Poster carries the visual identity of the Plated Jams single into the illustrated poster tradition that Colorado has kept alive since the earliest days of mountain tourism. The design draws on hand-painted travel posters, where flat blocks of stone and pine build depth without a single photograph and the type sits confidently across the sky and the base. Serrated ridgelines and cumulus clouds fill the upper half, a hawk crosses the right margin, and a guardrailed two-lane road curves past a mountain lake below. A green highway sign gives the mileage to Glen Haven and Estes Park, a Colorado 34 shield stands beside it, and a Glen Haven Cinnamon Rolls seal sits at the lower right as an honest nod to the reason people take that particular road.
